The toolbox
The power tool, and it only holds what you gave them
One key opens a panel on the right of the screen. Arrow keys walk it, four presses do the job, and it is built out of the role you wrote — so the moderator who may not ban cannot see a ban that works. Nobody needs the server console to deal with a player.
- permission keys decide what is in it. Handing a role the toolbox grants nothing on its own

- presses from the key to the job being done, which is what the whole menu is arranged around

- opens it by default, or /tb. You set the starting key and each staff member can rebind it

The menu is the role, not a copy of it
The panel builds the toolbox out of the keys that role holds before it sends it. A row somebody may not use comes down greyed with a padlock and the reason, so a new moderator learns what they have rather than thinking the menu is broken — and the check runs again on the press, because a game client is never trusted with a permission.
Four presses, and nothing to learn
Open, pick a branch, pick a row, done — players, yourself, teleport, the car you are in and the world, with no branch deeper than it has to be. It takes the keyboard and leaves the game running, so staff walk, drive and look around with it open.
Every press lands in the same audit log
A freeze from here is the freeze from the panel: the same action, the same checks, the same row in the log with the same staff member on it. There is no in-game shortcut that goes unrecorded, including the things staff turn on for themselves — godmode, noclip, invisibility.
Off until you turn it on, and then only for who you say
The toolbox is a server setting, off by default. Giving a role the toolbox grants nothing on its own: every row still needs the key for the thing it does. The developer section — the entity inspector, the coordinate copiers, the event monitor — sits behind its own key and belongs to nobody until you name somebody.
Where it comes from
You write the role. The toolbox is what is left
There is no separate menu to configure. The panel builds each staff member's toolbox out of the keys their role holds, every time they open it.
In game
A panel on the right, and the game still running
It takes the keyboard and leaves the rest, so staff keep walking, driving and looking around with it open. Arrow keys walk it, Backspace steps back out, and the sound it makes is quieter than anything else we play.
What is in it, when a role holds all of it
Every row is an action the panel already has, carried out the same way and written down the same way. Nothing here is a power that exists only in game.
On the player in front of them
- Freeze, heal, revive, full armour, food and drink
- Bring them to me, or go to them
- Voice mute, staff timeout and the rows that end both
- Their job, their money per account, and their inventory
- Reload their appearance, or open their character menu
On themselves
- Godmode, noclip, invisible, super jump, endless stamina
- Teleport to a waypoint, to a saved place, or back
- Overlays only they see: name tags, who is talking, health, plates, speed
- A developer section behind its own key, for whoever is building the server
On the car they are in
- Repair, flip, clean and max performance
- Live handling, a step at a time, between the ends you set
- Paint, wheels, extras and mod slots — only the ones this model has
- Spawn one by its code, or write the one they are in onto their character
On the server
- Time of day and weather
- Tidy away abandoned vehicles
- Heal everybody
- Announce something to everybody playing
Questions people ask first
Do my staff still need txAdmin?
Not for players. txAdmin runs your server — the console, the resources, the restarts — and a moderator dealing with somebody driving into the sea needs none of that. Give them the toolbox instead and they get exactly the powers you ticked, with every one of them on the record.
What stops a moderator giving themselves godmode?
You do, by not giving their role that key. If you do give it, switching it on is an action like any other and lands in the audit log with their name on it — because what a player experiences when a moderator is invincible is exactly what you need to find when somebody complains.
Could somebody with a modified client press a row they were not given?
No. The game never decides a permission: the panel builds the menu and checks the key again when the press arrives, through the same pipeline a press from the website goes through. A row that is not in somebody's toolbox does nothing if they send it anyway.
Another script already uses /tb. Can we change it?
Yes — rename it, or turn the short command off entirely, in one line of server.cfg. The key and /staff toolbox keep working either way, and the key itself has a server default you set and each staff member can rebind in FiveM's own controls.
How many roles can we have?
As many as your server actually has. There is no cap and no per-role charge, so the trial moderator, the event team and the developer can each have the handful of keys that suit them instead of sharing one role that is too big for somebody.
All of it comes with the same install
There is nothing to add on and nothing per member of staff. The free plan seats 3 and keeps 30 days of history; Pro seats everybody, keeps 12 months, and adds live view and calls.
