Supported scripts

The scripts your server already runs

Your framework holds the money and the job. Your inventory holds the items, your ambulance script decides who gets up, and your key resource decides who can drive away. FiveStaff asks each of them in its own words — and this is the list, with the gaps in it.

From its code

FiveStaff has read the resource’s own source and is calling what is in it.

From its docs

Taken from the documentation its authors publish. Paid resources are mostly this, because their code cannot be read from here.

Assumed

Neither: it follows the convention the rest of its family follows. Your server’s console says so at start, so try one edit on a test character before trusting it.

Inventories

The resource that owns your players’ slots is the only thing that can change them while somebody is playing — your framework’s own item functions edit a store nothing reads any more, and report success. FiveStaff uses whichever of these is running, with its own field names.

Ambulance and medical scripts

Revive and Heal go through yours rather than setting a player’s health behind its back, so its own death screen, its timers and its injuries are cleared with them. A player stood up while the script still thinks they are dead is worse than one left down.

  • esx_ambulancejob From its code Revive · Heal
  • brutal_ambulancejob From its docs Revive Its revive is published as a client-side event rather than one the server can trigger, and it has no server export, so FiveStaff may not be able to reach it at all.

  • mythic_hospital From its code Told after a revive

Known, and not asked

FiveStaff knows these exist and has not been able to work out how to ask them. Revive and Heal are simply not offered on a server running one, rather than pressed and quietly doing nothing.

Vehicle keys

A car staff give somebody comes with its keys, through the resource that holds them. Without this they are handed a vehicle they cannot start, which is the kind of fix that generates a second report.

  • qbx_vehiclekeys From its code Keys with a vehicle
  • MrNewbVehicleKeys From its docs Keys with a vehicle
  • Renewed-Vehiclekeys From its docs Keys with a vehicle
  • wasabi_carlock From its docs Keys with a vehicle
  • qb-vehiclekeys From its code Keys with a vehicle
  • cd_garage's keys From its docs Keys with a vehicle Its keys can be turned off in its own config, and then nothing happens and it does not say so.

Known, and not asked

FiveStaff cannot hand keys through these. A vehicle given on a server running one arrives without them, and the panel says so where it offers it.

Clothing

Reload appearance draws a player again from what their clothing script already saved — for somebody invisible, naked or stuck as the wrong model, which is the commonest thing a player asks staff to fix.

2 resources

  • illenium-appearance From its docs Reload appearance It will not reload somebody who is in a vehicle or falling, and says so to the player rather than to FiveStaff.
  • qb-clothing From its docs Reload appearance

Known, and not asked

FiveStaff cannot redraw a player through these yet.

Character slots

Giving one player an extra character goes through the script that owns the slots, so their own screen shows it the next time they connect.

2 resources

  • op-multicharacter From its docs Set slots Its documentation says this only works while its Discord Ranks option is off, and does not say which form of licence it takes.
  • esx_multicharacter From its code Set slots · Read slots

Known, and not asked

These keep their slots somewhere only you can edit, or publish nothing another script can call. Set slots is not offered on a server running one.

  • qb-multicharacter Its slots are set per licence in its config.lua, which only you can edit
  • ps-multicharacter Its slots are set per licence in its config, which only you can edit
  • um-multicharacter It publishes no way for another script to change slots
  • 0R Multicharacter V3 Its addslots command only adds slots for a player who is online, and their total also counts Discord roles and codes
  • 0R Multicharacter V2 It publishes no way for another script to change slots
  • 0R Multicharacter It publishes no way for another script to change slots
  • wais-multicharacterv2 It opens and closes single slots by command rather than setting a number
  • okokMulticharacter It publishes no way for another script to change slots
  • 17mov Character System It publishes no way for another script to change slots
  • codem-multicharacter It publishes no way for another script to change slots
  • qbx_core's character screen Its slots are set per licence in config/server.lua, which only you can edit

Scripts the player log reads

Money leaving a player is money leaving a player, unless something explains it. While one of these is running, a payment reads as the bill, the fine or the car it actually was, and a vehicle handed over names both players. Nothing in your scripts has to change.

Questions

Before you install it

The four things server owners ask about this list.

Mine is not on the list. Is that the end of it?

No. Tell us in our Discord which resource you run and we will look at it — most of these were added because somebody asked. Until then everything that does not depend on that resource works as normal: records, reports, warnings, kicks, bans, appeals, the trust score, live view, the player log and the Discord bot touch none of it.

What does Assumed actually mean for me?

That FiveStaff is calling your resource the way the rest of its family publishes, without having read its code. Your server's console says so when it starts. Try one item edit on a test character: if it lands, the rest will.

Do I have to tell FiveStaff which ones I run?

No. It looks at what is actually started on your server. Where a resource is installed under a name we would not recognise, one line in your server.cfg names it, and the console confirms what it picked.

Can staff still edit a player if I run none of these?

Money, jobs and vehicles come from your framework rather than from these, so those work on any framework FiveStaff supports. Items need an inventory from the list above, and Revive, keys, clothing and slots each need their own.
